Mrs. Gbajumo is a lawyer by profession; she obtained her Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of Kent at Canterbury, England; barrister at law certificate (BL) from the Nigerian

Law School, Lagos and also a Master of Law degree (LLM) from the Temple University School of Law in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. 

She is currently the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Nigerite Nigeria Limited. Previously, she was Legal/Compliance Manager and Company Secretary at CRC Credit Bureau Limited; Legal/Compliance Manager and Company Secretary at Celtel Nigeria Limited (now Airtel Nigeria); Legal & Compliance Officer at Standard Chartered Bank Nigeria Limited and was a Law Office Attache at the Legal Practice Firm of Kehinde Sofola & Co. Lagos.

She joined the Board of Investors and Trust in December 2014 as Non Executive Director.
